    My name is Jessica Edwards; I started out at Capstone in October of 2018 as assistant administrator and then transitioned to Administrator in December of 2018. I attended SUNY Empire State College online where I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Community and Health Services with a concentration in Health Administration and Aging. I have been working in skilled nursing facilities for the past 10 years in various departments along with spending a few years in the home care atmosphere. From a young age my goal was always to become a nursing home administrator. I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, camping and golfing.

    I’ve been at Capstone for about a month. I studied Early Childhood Elementary at SUNY Plattsburgh and graduated in 2007. I worked in that field for a few years and then decided I wanted to take my career to the next level and continue to help in the community by becoming a nurse! I have a passion for helping those with dementia and their families, as it has personally impacted my life in so many ways. In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband, son and golden retriever. I love being on the lake or ocean, fall is my favorite season while I watch Notre Dame Football games with my family and friends.
